Is part-time MBA losing its sheen compared to what was the case 10-15 years back? Employers are kind of wary of them, probably due to oversupply. There are candidates who make the most of these programs and learn as much or more than someone in regular courses. But still there is a growing scepticism towards distant and part-time MBA program. People prefer regulars even from tier2 school, rather than part-timers from tier1 schools.

|Definitely not for younger people. as it gives an impression of cutting corners. But for experienced folks, it is acceptable, as it shows their willingness to develop themselves regularly. How much one learns is not the issue (depends on person), but I am pointing to the perception.|

|Hi Anurag! Part time courses have never been viewed on par with regular ones anyway in our country. And like Anand mentioned, such programs are still perceived in the right light if done simultaneously with a job, as they are viewed as skill enhancers.|
